The top members of this table haven't changed much over the last few years, so Shenguanlin's leap into the No 1 position is a dramatic change, the most since the Etienne/Stephen – Index of Articles entered at No 1 in 2020. Such events usually result in no more than a minor shuffling of the top names, but not so this year. 3 new articles entered in top 10 positions, and those previously occupying 4th and 5th places had dramatic falls. 6 articles dropped out of the table altogether*, the most since 2021. It's still the case, however, that the top three are way ahead of everyone else.
The surge of interest in Shenguanlin pulled his 'Milking Factory 14' up to No 6 and
the follow-up article 'Sheguanlin 2' into the table for the first time at 9. This phenomenon was triggered by the artist seeing my articles and suggesting to his followers on 'X' that they might have a look.

I have no equivalent explanation as to why Teddy of Paris has made such a dramatic return to this chart (for the first time since 2019). Last year he was down at 40th position, but he is a classy artist and deserves all the recognition he can get. Class does tell in this chart, as witness the gaggle of articles from as long ago as 2008-2012. Old hands, like Brick, Franco and Priapus may have been boosted by their recent new works and Etienne, by 'rediscoveries' and AI adaptations publicised here, but Cavelo and Mike Carcel seem to constantly win new followers purely based on their back catalogue and reputation.

As usual, I have excluded last year's new posts from this table, because their initial flush of visits in a short space of time can be misleading. In practice, only one qualified this year, Homoeros Recent Work - 1 the Top 2025 New Post. I have shown where it would have finished in the table. Its publication may have mitigated the decline of The Art of Homoeros - 6 (Crucifixion) and loss of
The Art of Homoeros -1 (Beefcake Boys) from the chart.

Two of last year's new posts made their debut this year. 'IFNB Newsletter', at 7, was my attempt to recreate the spirit of the original IFNB blog. It joined the long-running, original IFNB post (3), but effectively displaced the follow-up 'IFNB Revisited' from the table.
'Ain Postolos - Milking Factory Recruits' came in at 12 bringing the total of Milking Factory articles in the table to 7, including a welcome first appearance for the astonishing videoettes taken from an Australian TV series in Milking Parlour at No 20. Milking Factory 1 relinquished its top position after 3 years but, as entry point to the series, continues to score heavily. Ain Postolos is the only AI article in this year's table, which doesn't cover that trend in last year's new posts.

Articles from no less than 13 different years are represented in this year's table. 10 by traditional artists, 5 are by renderers, 3 by photo-manipulators, 1 video edit and 1 AI.
The
mitchmen 'Index of Artists' page recorded 6540 hits in 2025, down by nearly a half on 2024. Overall hit counts at the blog increased, but much of this was spam traffic attracted by my signposting of the blog at 'X'. Analysis of the top 200 articles suggests a small drop in genuine visits. Blogger seems to have been switching sign-in barriers on and off this year, and its whole approach to adult content has become less tolerant, very muddled and opaque, leaving me frustrated and confused. 'X' is refreshingly straightforward, but not suited to in-depth articles. Promotions there have boosted visits to the blog but only temporarily, apart from the Shenguanlin phenomenon.
