It has almost the air of a performance under the big top. 

But if there's an audience there he can't see it.

I love the on-point position imposed on his right foot by the bondage,

 combined with a straight leg it re-creates the elegant form of a ballet dancer

Definitely a man worth tying up!

Here Ginger's kneeling position with bowed head is a classic submission pose.

His leotard has beautiful clinging qualities which I love.

The bold side flash highlights beautifully the sweep of his thighs and ass.  

It provides a contrasting flow that make the leg looping stand out,

somehow emphasising it's immobilising function.

The garment itself seems incongruous  in this open-air setting, it's tight fit very exposing.

The two men in the background being tied up conjure up a fantasy of mass abduction.

Here, an ordinary guy (at the 'fit' end of the scale) sits naked on a chair.

His tousled, long hair suggests a boyish, free spirit, but he's not free now.

He looks down as if puzzling over this predicament.

Only his ankle is tethered to the chair, but if he gets up

the raised leg bondage limits him to hobbling on one foot. 

The vast, barn-like space conjures up remoteness, isolation, abandonment.

Gagged and blindfolded and wearing only a jock,

this captive is confined in a small shower cubicle.

A separate picture shows him deluged by water. 

I suppose it's unnecessary to wonder if it's cold. 

The upper body harness here is asymmetrical, 

it's tied over only one shoulder.

This looks like the same attic used previously to house the lonely boy on a chair.

Now it provides a parking space for a leather boy in brief, tight, shorts.

A very different, more dangerous persona

Suspended from the ceiling, his arms are pinned by his own weight.

A raised-knee side attachment opens out his crotch and buns.

And gives an impression of angry, frantic struggle.

Well, his unusual skin-tight outfit was bound to attract some attention.

His captor has arranged him in a helpless and inviting, reclining pose.

displaying a slender body and long legs, a 'flow' like Ginger's leotard.

It's a curiously alluring sight, as if he's calmly awaiting collection.

Spiderman's restraint here is clever, spread by multiple restraining ropes

it's ironically suggestive of a web without resorting to obvious cliché. 

Despite the restraint, you still get a sense of his slender agility

thanks to the (same) model's slender physique.

The desolate surroundings imply that rescue is unlikely

the blindfold and gag doubling up on his isolation.

Talisin's take on bringing down Superman is equally imaginative.

A ball gag made of kryptonite, depletes his special powers.

The second crystal pinned to his chest might be considered over-kill,

but the erotic, open-legged pose suggests a use later on in the scene.

Talisin's body harness does a creditable job of bringing out

 a sense of muscularity and strength in Spidey's lean physique.

I suspect that the interest in body suits shown in this group

stems more from Spidey '84, the model than the ropemaster

Talisin - Merman Chris

Perhaps most fantastic of all Talisin's creations is an extended series

 showing a merman in bondage, half in and half out of water.

The bondage here is very complex, but completely external to his body

The merman's tail, encasing the model's legs is a secondary form of bondage itself.

 Finally, the very cute 'voodoobound' returns

(he featured previously in the mitchmen 'beautifully bound' series). 

Here he is being dominated by the ropemaster and showing a more submissive side. 

It's a stirring contrast to the spiky, street-wise persona suggested by his skinhead image.

The Rope Art of BoyzBond

This post is especially dedicated to anyone who is alone - or who feels alone - this Christmas. Partly for that reason it's not about Christmas and should be meaty enough to entertain for a while.

 

Boyzbond has been around on the internet for many years sharing his love of men in tight clothes and tight bondage. This image from 2010 epitomises the former with a nostalgic nod to the vintage years of skin-tight jeans which were custom-shrunk to fit by sitting in the bath while wearing them!

BoyzBond images feature men of all types, but their faces and bodies are generally cloaked, allowing the underlying male characteristics to be showcased.  In recent years, skinny-legged jeans have re-accustomed our eyes to tight apparel and, together with the tight bindings seen here, reveal that even slender young men have the proverbial 'hour glass' figure normally attributed to voluptuous women.

(and I know which I prefer!)

BoyzBond is strongly focussed on rope. The captives crotch-enhancing 'harness', the single rope tethering him to a ceiling hook plus the straps dangling on the wall indicate that beautification is not the sole objective here!

The post tie position was once a Hollywood staple in Wild West and Pirate fantasies but BoyzBond is one of the few bondage enthusiasts featuring it today. It amplifies the immobilising capability of the 'ladder pattern' loops seen in the previous image, obliging the captive to stand in an erect and manly position with shoulders pulled back (like your mother told you). The doubling-up of the tape gag as a topping-off head restraint is a fiendish, extra, disciplinary tweak.

 These leggings show the captive's leg contours even more and give him a sporting identity.
Carefully positioned thigh ties accentuate the buttocks nicely.

 

 In this image you can see there's also a central 'bun divider' for added effect. The simple bondage arrangement of the previous image readily converts here to a hog-tie.

The all-in-one, 'Zen' bodysuit is a natural addition to the tight clothing range. It blurs the boundary between nudity and clothing, flimsy, clinging and revealing, such that the man wearing it feels naked even though he is not. In addition, this unconventional outfit becomes part of his bondage 'package', separating him from his everyday 'clothed' identity like a prison uniform does.

From there it's a short step to rubber, which brings it's own, more restricting clinginess to the wearer's attention. It's natural tone is dark and sombre, but this stylish variant uses colour to accentuate shoulders, pecs and the downstairs package (complete with tantalising zip!). All this is purely for the benefit of on-lookers, the blindfolded captive can only guess what on-lookers make of his display. 

The chair tie is another classic, movie bondage position, normally used in the detective and spy thriller genres, but Boyzbond shows that it's no sluggard in the sexiness stakes. Tight-tied thighs push up the pouch and the flexed body position creates a natural cradle for it with a star pattern of flattering creases radiating on either side.

The open legged variant produces a heightened vulnerability, opening up a wider area for inspection and more, should one wish. The captive's unruly hair is a characterful detail suggesting that this might be an out-of-character experience for him. The same might be said of the incongruous 'antique' chair! At least this dungeon does not skimp on comfort and style. Sticking with black for the rounded neckline on his suit showcases an attractive head and neck.

 

This open legged, upright pose in full leather regalia creates similar vulnerabilities but the captive here projects a proud and manly aura and an admirable physical stature. This style of restraint pays tribute to his strength in the traditional manner accorded to the likes of Hercules and Samson - and rightly so if those intimidating thighs are anything to go by. 

And those thighs are not the only intimidating detail!

This pose, facing a mirror in an otherwise empty room is a regular feature of Boyzbond imagery. It creates a sense of expectation for us and him. Perhaps dread too in some men, if they have glimpsed the array of implements on the table before being deprived of sight.

There is something intensely erotic about the act of tying another man up, gradually reducing him to a point where he cannot resist further incursions. This gagging moment, closing off the last avenue of appeal, graphically  illustrates the captive's helplessness and his captor's power to inflict on him whatever he wants.

Sensory deprivation has a multiple purpose, including the shrouding of the captive's identity. It also despatches him into a different world where only his sense of touch will function. He will only feel what his captor wishes him to feel and if the man's a wily operator he will give ample space for the captive's imaginings to stoke his anticipation of what is to come.

 

You sense this captive might be experiencing just such imaginings as he stands erect and waits, aware  only of the pressure of his suit and of the bindings, not least the loop between his legs which is clearly riding up uncomfortably. All men are equally vulnerable in this region.

For some, discomfort starts with the gagging. This man has been assigned an inflatable gag which augments his imposed, near-silence with considerable on-going discomfort. If he looks to his left he might discern others coming his way.

The BoyzBond style of restraint and the tight, body-shaping clothing attracts erotic attention and sadistic thoughts. Simultaneously it makes the wearer aware of his vulnerability in this respect. The clothing offers a layer of protection, but he knows that his captor can easily compensate for it.

This bench pose provides a more enticing target.
The gallows-like device positioned between the legs is intimidating in itself.

 

 It converts readily into a hog frame and in this sporting example the frontal arm provides anchorage for a head restraint, potentially a painful option if more severe tension is applied.

 

There are other torments more subtle than the slapping of cheeks. This restraint combines the humiliation of precarious display and open access with pressure on unaccustomed joints. One for those who seek the extremities of the bondage experience.

Asian Speedo Bondage 2 - Rai's Playroom

In this article I present a selection of images from ' Rai's Playroom' which explore the eroticism of Speedo-style swimming trunks in the context of shibari style Japanese bondage.

A swimmer surveys his domain of the pool wearing skimpy, snug-fitting swimming trunks.

He adopts confident pose that's intended to attract attention and impress. 

This sort of man provides the inspiration for Speedo bondage enthusiasts.

 

The trunks are no less attractive when the wearer 

is enmeshed in a complex network of rope restraints.

Carefully sited loops around the buttocks accentuate their shape.

In the Locker Room a story of captivity is also unfolding for this muscular specimen.

His purple trunks are a delightful, bold adornment for a body that has bulk and shape

without being excessively defined. 

 

This more slender swimmer finds himself in a luxurious flat.

Minimally bound, the full beauty of his body can be viewed,

and his hands prevented from obscuring or (protecting) his trunks.  

It's the same story here with slightly tighter arm restraint but nothing below the chest

but this man's arms are squeezed behind him by the restricting sides of the bucket chair.

So, his torso pushes forward, creating a dipping, inviting, sling shape in his Speedos. 

It's not just the pouch at the front that that's the source of Speedo man's allure!

The ropework here immobilises the subject's arms most emphatically,

leaving his skimpy and very tight trunks to tease and tempt.

They are shamelessly designed to accentuate the shape of his rear

with the colour contrast creating an erotic 'double cup' effect.

His submissive kneeling pose is a beauty.

You can see additional ropes snake inside the trunks, to lodge in intimate places.

Their insertion has further depressed his waistband, opening up the teasing cavity.

 

This tight-fitting rascal has brought another young man into the limelight.

Out in the real world pants as tight as this would be a fashion faux-pas.

In this domain it's a form of restraint in itself, doubling up on the ropework.

 

The Speedos bunch the flesh into succulent shapes

that can be examined and enjoyed without hindrance. 

Here the bondage master demonstrates his control by lightly touching the Speedos.

There's an extra twist in this image, normally the trunks on this site are shiny and immaculate.

Look closer here and you'll see this man's turned up in a very old, worn pair.

The master rips them open to ensure it won't happen again.

I'm quite glad he did.

But for these plain, white 'Asics' there's no need for such crudeness.

The removal of the inner lining and a splash of water ensures all can be seen.

This picture pairs with the first image in Part 1 of this article.

The scene starts out with an upper body, ropework 'harness'.

It's beautifully formed around the man's pecs, 

both sympathetic and flattering to their shape.

Rai's fantasy unfolds with the captive appearing in a hotel room, now wearing a hood.
It's as though he's been brought to some strange appointment at a secret location
and with a person whom he is not permitted to see.

The hood deprives him of his sight and identity
and he bows his head in a gesture of submission.

His fate is to be tied down awkwardly on the bed
 with legs secured in an immobilising doubled-back position.

His thighs are held open by side ropes
showcasing his wet 'Asics -' and their clinging fit.

Unencumbered by any ropework, the trunks seems to gain added prominence and accessibility,
like a sort of clothed nudity, especially crafted for a purist who likes his Speedos served up 'straight'.

Rai's site has a significant emphasis on this highly complex style of bondage 'art'
It's often more decorative and psychological rather than strictly functional.

This lower body harness seems to create a wasp-like narrowing of the waist
whilst broadening the hips and thighs and highlighting the hairless lower abdomen .

The binding of this captive is further embellished by leg entwinements anchored by the toe.

The practical effect is to create discomfort and make movement more difficult for him.
Visually though it adds bulk and the impression of strength being restrained.
The red 'Mizuna' Speedos stand out enticingly through a cleverly shaped 'window'.

In these sorts of settings, the Speedos seem incongruous and inherently ritualistic.

Their briefness and tightness impart a sense of vulnerability and exposure to the wearer

so that the simplest of holds here creates a powerful sense of subjugation and peril.

Shibari can be a very dark art which manifests as highly stylised bondage for this man

It goes beyond mere restraint and body wrapping into forced poses and contortions.
as though he is entering a mysteriously threatening rite.

In this darker context, the Speedos shine out through the complex of ropes

 like a beacon of innocence and athleticism belonging to a different world.

 

The pole here anchors the arms and restricts the posture,
the captive is drawn into a tight, testing, compression position

harking back to the origins of the art as a punishment for captured enemies.

 A manly sport indeed for those with the courage and flexibility.

By contrast, this equally comprehensive roping has a child-like innocence about it.

 But the leg-bindings, which seemed like simple adornments in an earlier picture,

transform into restraining sleeves and anchors for complex meshes of restraint. 

The face taping starts to seem part of an integrated neutralisation.
Even the Speedo identity starts to disappear into the spiders web.

This amazing image keeps the Speedos centre-stage.
It's a more open pose but equally immobilising.

Although it is highly erotic there is nothing explicitly sexual in the picture.

This raised, 'stork' leg constraint is more suggestive and puts the spotlight back on the trunks.
In a strange way, the sheer proliferation of ropes impies a presumed strength in the prisoner.

The shower floor scenario here draws on the athletic and watery connections of swimsuits to create a nice air of authenticity, but makes the swimmer's plight seem all the more extraordinary.

Rai's Playroom focusses on a particular style of Speedo bondage, peculiar to Japan. It encompasses a wide range of other masculine iconography as well as swiming trunks. The imagery straddles the line between the sexual and the merely erotic and even if you are not attracted to the extremes of shibari, some of his imagery is amazingly powerful and exciting.
