Most Popular New Post of 2023 (MPP1)

My annual custom of evaluating the most visited new posts of the year has given me more food for thought than usual this year after a dramatic fall in the number of recorded visits. The stats tell me that visitors are down by 25% for the blog overall but most of the entries in the table below show hit totals and a cut-off score which are just below half of the same position last year. This seems to be a continuation of a trend which I noted last year where views of new posts fell but visits overall were stable. There's an obvious message for me here about recent posts! There have been no new major reviews this year to set alongside past 'block busters' like Amalaric, the Milking Factory series and the IFNB phenomenon. I will be hoping to regain lost viewers in the New Year. 

Meanwhile I must thank all the readers who continue to show their interest in mitchmen blog!

The table below lists the most popular of the new mitchmen posts during 2023. I'm sticking with last years method of simply counting hits with a mention of other factors in the notes.

Top spot this year was claimed by the sexy GIF of Jordan James being handcuffed and ring-gagged by his partner. This clip was borrowed from MuscleDestroyer at Deviant Art and he also contributed No 6 in the table showing a bound muscle hunk being doused with water. This pair ranked 1 and 3 in the ranking based on hit rate (column 4). Despite this I have no plans to switch the focus of the blog away from gay fetish art, which made up the rest of the table as usual. It's only the second time a photographic entry has taken top spot in this table joining the Royale Studio 'Come and Get It!' announcement from 2021. Posts about Royale Studio have now moved to the new Royale and Hussar blog.

The winning total of 927 is the lowest since 2013 when the 'Art of Swarbrick' scored 774.

Jero's sexy and sensual renders took the runners up spot and also claimed 20th position. He produces great art which redefines the imagery of old and gives it new life. There were many representatives of those older, established artists in last year's chart - Brick, Kalabro, Oztangles and Gilgamesh but it was cartoonist Rob Clarke who carried that banner this year, returning in a new, ball-bustin' guise as Whiteworm. 

I suppose AnimasAnimus at 19 might also be included in this veterans group by virtue of his longevity, but his cartoons are more representative of my interest in the power and eroticism of over-developed muscle and it's containment by clothing and by fellow muscle 'beasts'. That niche was also represented this year by Paragon Illusions (see note 5 below).

At No 3 and No 16 were two of last years 'Most Popular Posts' reports, a slightly puzzling phenomenon that I have remarked on before. They do, of course showcase the outstanding images of the year (by Brick in 2023 and IFNB in 2022) and also point casual readers to highly-rated posts they have missed. 

I appreciate visitors' interest in my analyses, but the appearance of my own drawing 'Kidnapped' at No 18 was more pleasing. It depicts my answer to the fiendish dwarves of Black Prof! I started to give more attention to my own work last year with the 'Cowboy Folio' project and experimentations with AI.

ApostleXXX also uses a traditional drawing style and his skilful, economical depictions of men are sexy indeed, but it was also his story-telling that was rightly rewarded with 10th place. I don't often post about devilry but it has proved popular in the past with the great Sean Platter

The art of Drtkk (formerly known here as Milkcow) is highly stylised by comparison but he can make a claim to be the artist of the year with three entries in the table at No 11, 13 and 17. He fares even better on hit rate at 6,7 and 8. This was despite his best images having already been presented in here in 2017 - in the first part of the series

One of Drtkk's articles was a contribution to the ever-popular 'Milking Factory' series which grabbed two places (at 7 & 17). The other was supplied by Shenguanlin who is also represented in the table with a full review of his work (at 14). I wasn't really able to give full credit to his rather extreme visions of hunk abduction and toilet service but I hope readers followed the links to bathe in the full glory of his earthy deviousness!

Artists using the latest render art and AI have a significant presence this year, headed up by Appas at No 4 with his 'bondage on a bus', a success that surprised me somewhat. Paragon Illusions was not far behind at 8, I very much like his images of mature men establishing physical control over their peers.

Waxx3D at No 9 showed that these new techniques have not extinguished interest in good, old-fashioned rendering! Also in this category is Iskan156 whose use of crucifixion imagery strikes a familiar chord at this blog (see labels below). These two revivals emulated the success of Ridley last year.

Photo-manipulations have always been amongst the most popular posts at this blog in the past - notably Priapus of Milet and Amalaric. That torch this year was carried by two less well known artists, Beverley and Teracles (from the late, lamented Chained Muscle site). Their dramas of capture in the jungle made 15th position, a testament to the inherent appeal of putting scantily clad images of real men into unusual scenarios of danger. It's a technique that neither rendering nor AI can emulate - not yet anyway! 


Honourable Mentions 1

Chenz - Police Experimented 

There were 3 other contenders from late 2023 which did not make the cut in time, but scored impressive hit rates which and would probably have gained leading positions given more time.

Chenz-X-Chen's vivid, AI scenes of muscled captivity (Oct 23) would have taken 2nd position based on hit rate alone. DragonTattoo (also from Oct) whose built-in comforts for Astronauts are not only highly original but sexy on more than one level would have been 3rd. DGG's more conventional renders, somewhat in the style of Oztangles, (posted in Sept) would have been 4th. 

Of course these rates will not be sustained over a full year but all three were within 30 hits of making the table in their own right. It remains to be seen whether these impressive performances will continue.


Honourable Mentions 2

Black Prof - Cheated of Victory?

There were also a number of articles from the previous year, 2022, which were too late to make the cut in their own year of publication but would have scored highly in this years chart. 

Thus 'Tarzan Captured' by Black Prof (Aug 2022) has scored 1854 hits in the 15 months since publication and 1060 in 2023 alone, enough to take top spot.

Abduction Art by Jero (Nov 2022) has scored 1078 to date, 626 in 2023, worthy of 4th position at least. 

I have admitted examples like this to the table in previous years but there seems to have been a sea change in visitor patterns this year that makes it a case of comparing apples with pears and so I have decided to limit their ranking to 'might have beens'. The 'all-comers' list for 2023 will put their performances in a wider context.

This year's table features articles based on photographs, comics, cartoons, renders, traditional art and AI. The wealth of gay, artistic talent enhances all of our lives in difficult times. Long may it continue!

drtkk - Nice Meats 1 (colour by mitchmen blog)

 There's something very visceral about drtkk's highly stylised cartoons of men in captivity,
however, his solid line, blocky style makes for a busy, visual effect in black and white,
so I wondered how colouring one would look.
(In fact it's a style that seems to cry out for colouring).

It gains depth from the colours and hidden details become more apparent 
e.g. there are no less than 28 cables attached to the bodies of the two men!
Also the captives are revealed to have thighs like tree trunks.
The streaks on the wall suggest the walls are running with the sweat of the men.

MilkCow

Milk Cow - Get Shocked (Click to enlarge)

I  stumbled across this artist quite recently and was immediately struck by the drama and story-telling in his pictures. This complex example is an early work and explores a theme which I suspect is a common fantasy of many of our early years: 'buddy punishment' based around an espionage scenario with ruthless bad guys (a la James Bond). 

MilkCow removed the dialogue from his 'clean' version of this picture, but I have taken the liberty of restoring it (with minor changes to make the English more natural) because it adds meaning to the scene and gives insight into the mind of it's creator.

MilkCow - Whip Him (Slave Training)
This picture shows the flair for dramatic line that is apparent in some of his pictures. It's made all the more striking by the simplicity of the composition which allows it's inherent sensuality to surface, unhindered by any particular storyline or background details.


MilkCow - Big Chest Torment

You might discern in this example (and others here) a stylistic kinship with the drawings of Cavelo. For example in the dark skin colouration and highly detailed musculature which has an almost plastic texture. This dense area is contrasted with simple outlines for other elements of the picture. These are a feature of both artists work, and inspired, I believe by the world of bodybuilding with it's fake tans and oily skin preparation. I'm glad these artists spare us the prominent veins! 

MilkCow's approach to his subject matter however is quite different. Cavelo's images sometimes have unusual, dramatic perspectives but always exist within the boundaries of his frame rather than reaching out to us like this, let alone casting us as participants! This is an ambitious concept and a little unobtrusive bending of perspective allows the insertion of some erotic, close-up detail. The crystal clear detailing of the tit clamps further back is pretty astonishing, making good use of the two contrasting techniques.

The spooky goggles I don't understand,
 but I think they are a clue to the artist's cultural background.

MilkCow - The Opening


In this picture you can see straight away that this artist comes from the Far East. The facial detailing, hairstyle and strap-on vibrator give it away. There's more than a hint of Tagame in this image, but interestingly the artist hails not from Japan but from Hong Kong. The cross-influences are not surprising.

It's the powerful, curving composition that is most impressive thing about this picture and it's clearly reflecting an erotic reading of the figure, not just a pretty muscle shot. The preceding image actually contains a similar ingredient, compare them and see how the position of the head changes the effect it conveys. Both these pictures are infused with high emotion

MilkCow - Captive Camp


You can't help noticing that MilkCow's captives generally have deeply contorted faces that are not particularly attractive in that state. There's no doubt that the artist is seeking to convey deep distress and misery, even tears in this case. Contrast with the second image where the captive's beauty and erotic appeal takes precedence, unspoiled by his expression of anxiety.

The block and outline technique here produces a tremendous sense of substance in the central figure and some interesting contrasting detailing. The metal collar though almost seems to have visually decapitated the captive. It's a matter of taste whether you regard this as a miscalculation or a daring artistic effect.

I find the blue-collar apparel of the workers here interesting, it seems to suggest that all this is legitimate, unremarkable business as usual.

MilkCow - Lazy Athletes
A Coach who has unconventional ideas for punishing his gymnastics team makes for a nice picture that triggers run-on fantasies. The artist's preoccupation with extreme musculature poses challenges for some bondage positions but I guess the main point of interest is the half-mast shorts which create the sense of impromptu punishment, although the complex circuitry with a dedicated station for both (and all the other?) team members suggests a considerable degree of premeditation and repetition.

The relatively primitive threat of the ruler seems odd, but chimes with my own memories of school. The foreground figure is another imaginative composition technique and crops up again in a later picture in this article.

The date shown on the wall poster suggests this image might have been inspired by seeing gymnasts at the 2008 Beijing Olympics but sadly for me, the tight vest (no leotard?!) is discarded on the floor.  

MilkCow - Orgy, Orgy, Orgy

Ripped clothes are usually more interesting to me than ripped bodies but this image has some other interesting stylistic features as well. Once again the composition is spilling out of the frame and you get a distinct sense that those fingers manipulating the captive's assets (bottom left) belong to the artist himself. The distorted perspective here isn't really convincing but somehow it seems to work. The technique seems related to the way advertising graphics are put together to emphasise (neccessarily) the message. It results in a strong sense of design being evident which is quite original in this genre. Although the characters are very stylised and somewhat stiff (!), he nevertheless succeeds in capturing the intimacy and immediacy of the struggle.

There's another interesting mix of shaded photo-realism and comic-style line drawing here which helps create the sense of the hands at the bottom being external agents. However, it reverses the normal protocol which usually employs line drawing for the (comic) characters imprisoned within the page and realism for the intruding artist or his pencil/brush.

Finally, note the two half hidden characters at the back, they are similar to Tom of Finland in style, but a closer look suggests more affinity with the hand of the great Sadao Hasegawa. If you are familiar with that artist's more culturally influenced pictures you may see his ideas/motifs reflected in the central character too.

MilkCow - Bath Boy Service

This picture depicting the fate of a 'freed' slave is a good example of the 'Cavelo look' where the supporting cast of tormentors and cavorters are represented by outlines which are highly detailed but are unshaded. They therefore lack bodily substance, visually retreating into the background, even those who are actually in the foreground, standing between us and the central character.

Unlike Cavelo however, Milkcow's pictures have a hard-edged simplicity and he creates a highly distinctive and individualistic style. His site charts the evolution of his work from relatively naive, youthful beginnings to these startlingly confident later works. The explanation of his storylines in speech bubbles and captions are equally interesting and encompass classic, fetish-revealing emotions which many of my readers will recognise

Art by Drtkk - Part 3 (aka MilkCow)

MilkCow - White Rats 1

I discussed the features of this man-storage facility here at mitchmen in Milking Factories No 13, but MilkCow originally designed them to preserve captured POW's until they can be sold off . The title of the picture suggests that it's not expected that they will become cosseted House Boys or field workers.

This highly refined form of bondage is an ideal way of keeping them alive, under control and protected from damage in a controlled environment, whilst still being available for interested parties to view in person (although it's become more common to buy them over the internet since Covid). The captives love the safe feeling the warm liquid gives them and require minimum physical restraint in their capsules. They listen to music via implants and enjoy the gentle stimulation of nipple suckers and 'active' codpieces that comfort them and attend to their 'detoxification' needs. The cost of such a system is justified by the prices these men fetch, as shown on this man's container label.

MilkCow has drawn a handsome character demonstrating this ingenious design, he seems alluringly available and desirable as he dozes contentedly. All these captives have been shaved and show grow-back. The artist's bold, muscle delineation is less prominent in this close up view. The random arrangement of the capsules behind creates an impression of large numbers of other men being processed and on offer. One would be spoilt for choice, but few of us could afford this boy's price tag.

MilkCow - White Rats 2 - The Check

This scene shows the captive being 'checked' after being purchased by a laboratory for study. He's been delivered frozen in a cryogenic container which looks disturbingly like a coffin. MilkCow wisely skirts round the defrosting process. I suppose it might have been carried out by the container itself. Anyhow, it's barely warm when the delivery is lifted onto a table and strapped to it. 

Even before his shorts have been cut off his body, the scientists have already piled in and attached a device to his nipple and his other pectoral is being prepared for something similar. With all this haste the poor man must be struggling to understand what's happening to him. Maybe it's better that way. 

It's easy to understand the technicians enthusiasm once they saw what the new lab rat looked like. They all look very young and student-y which doesn't bode too well for procedure adherence as the check progresses (you'll remember what happened to the clipboard in the Chair of Toughness (MilkCow 2). The lab equipment at this point seems relatively unthreatening, but the universal use of eye protectors is a bit worrying. It's probably just as well one of them has a stethoscope for emergencies.

The artist has cropped the detail of what's happening on the right and re-directs our focus to two other technicians walking by and chatting as if all this uproar is nothing out of the ordinary. The nearly naked man on the table may grab our attention, but he is just another, experimental subject in Lab 169.

MilkCow - The Windmill Game

At first sight, it seems reasonably clear what's going on in this picture. The subject is lifting heavy buckets of water in a punishing position that does not allow bending of the arm. It would be well-nigh impossible for most people, so credit to him for achieving this much, but what is inducing him  to do it? 

The side frames limit his arms to moving up and down and it looks as if his wrist restraints are connected to the vertical arms with rings that can slide up and down. Since the frames also seem to be electrified it looks like this is a variation of that game of sliding a ring along an electrified, twisty wire without touching it and making the bell ring. I might be wrong but my guess is that it's his bell-end that's going to register any 'fails' since that organ is impaled by an electrified sound that is very firmly attached. His whole scrotum is trapped in the Y-fork of this assembly. 

So where do windmills come in? I think this must refer to the 4-pointed stars that are in contact with his nipples. But is he supposed to make them turn or are they spun by the technician standing behind him with a controller? This Heath Robinson complexity is puzzling but it's erotic fun analysing it.


Milk Cow - Nice Meats 1, Room 13 - Inspection

This final group of images is notable in that it features two captives undergoing the same trials and punishments alongside each other, illustrated rather nicely here by the mirror image composition.. Since they are both wearing dog tags it seems reasonable to assume that they are buddies from the same military unit. The title of the group, 'Nice Meats' suggests a fairly arbitrary, homoerotic sadism is motivating their treatment but it's supervised throughout by a uniformed figure and above them fascist style banners hang from the wall, suggestive of a more serious story line, perhaps a POW or partisan interrogation where anything goes, God help them. 

The Room Number motif references the non-specific oppression of 1984 and this carries on through the series although the banners do not. Each of the scenes takes place in a numbered room suggesting it's a carefully planned and lengthy programme but the captives do not visit the rooms in numerical order. 

In Room 13, the clip board indicates that it's a inspection but it's not obvious that any results are actually being recorded. Two keys lie on top of it, presumably for the chastity devices in which both men's manhood is locked, perhaps what passes for a uniform in this place. They are spread-eagled on crosses with an array of  electrical cables attached to their bodies, some with clinical sticker pads, some with heavyweight, industrial clips. Neither they, nor we, know if these are simply sensors or live electrical wires, but something is making them howl and the fingers of the man on the right are curled tight in tension (or agony). 

The positioning of their arms replicates a standard bodybuilder pose and this suggests that their strength is being targeted with the possibility that all these wires are manipulating their muscles to tense on demand so their physiques can be judged as bodybuilders are judged in competition. 

The Officer in the foreground looks as if he's just stepped off a Yellow Submarine or the Polar Express but he holds a wireless remote control that enables him to switch either man on or off and vary the intensity of their treatment. That seems very much like an interrogation technique. Meanwhile a steam-punk technician beavers away at his console, overseeing even more on-off switches using a curious visual feed from the pack on his back whose purpose is a complete mystery. It adds up to 'sinister'



Milk Cow - Nice Meats 2, Room 09 Whipping Makes Perfect


 This whipping scene takes place in Room 09. It's not clear whether the flippant subtitle indicates an underlying, corrective purpose behind their treatment or simply the personal opinions of their tormentors. The same could be said of the emphatic, metallic chastity devices they are still locked in, denying them their masculinity.

The two captives are depicted throughout this set as being significantly bigger than their captors. There's a similar contrast between their god-like muscularity and masculinity and their tormentors who are portrayed as either very ordinary or decidedly odd-ball. The density of weal marks and beads of perspiration covering their magnificent bodies suggest that their punishments are correspondingly intense and deliberately so. The torture technician's terrifying weapon and face mask seems to recognise danger lurking within these men. 


Milk Cow - Nice Meats 3, Room 10 - Sand Bags


In room 10 the assault intensifies and takes on an additional psychological dimension putting the men in fear of their lives as they are hoisted in nooses. It doesn't look as if they have been lifted completely off the ground at this point but the title suggests that might be part of the plan. At this point they are both being simultaneously beaten with the edges of  paddles by smartly dressed, uniformed officers. 

The supervisor watches them, enjoying a hot drink. It's a demonstration, not so much of sadism, but of indifference (or professional neutrality if we're being generous). The men have been freed from their chastity devices for this procedure but remain in cock rings. One is taking advantage of that freedom (and presumably responding to the beating). Part of the test perhaps? Is that a pass or fail?
 

MilkCow - Nice Meats 4 - Double Bed

Room 00 is placed at the end and it seems rather different to the others. The two boys bear the trellis marks of prolonged torture and their bodies are still covered in sweat but there are no electrical attachments here, no beating, only the more subtle pressure of the rack. Still freed from chastity they are greased up and encouraged (quite sensitively) by the attendants to produce samples which are being collected in glass jars. It's a relatively pleasant task (in moderation). 

We can't tell whether the rack is simply being used to coerce them, to encourage masochistic arousal, to wring out their last dregs or to verify a wacky theory about inducing variations in their ejaculates. What we can say is that it hurts them and the artist has used (rare) shadowing below the rib cage to emphasise their stress. 

Above them sitting on a beam are two, beautifully drawn rats, lab rats of a different hue, who if I remember correctly normally work in Room 101. This visual 'aside' neatly pairs with the facist motif in the first picture. As we know, despotic regimes are always keenly interested on what makes their opponents tick and often have pseudo-scientific beliefs that people who are different to them must be physiologically flawed and they are desperate to prove it. Of course, MilkCow himself, marks these muscular giants out as being different to ordinary folk.

Don't have nightmares chaps!


In this second batch of images MilkCow's images have not changed an awful lot in subject matter but have become more refined and more stylish. You can see the thought that has gone into his images like Nice Meats 4 but he also seems to have progressed from generic, captivity S&M to something that hits the mark more accurately. Room 13 in particular strikes me this way and White Rats 1, they make me think, yes, that's it, he's got it exactly. Veryerotic

Art by Alibobokk aka 'JR'

Alibobokk - Suspended and Pumped

This image is a supreme statement of total, extreme bondage with a man undergoing a uniquely personal, sensual experience under the direction and control of an unseen, external agent. He is tightly bound, face wrapped and suspended in the air, totally deprived of normal sensory stimulation leaving only that provided through the ropes compressing his body and the tubular attachments to his orifices. There also appear to be 2 electrical cables, presumably attached to his pecs. Someone unseen is in total control, but this image is not about him, it's about the bound man.

The artist who produced this striking image signs himself 'JR' on some pictures but he goes under the name 'Alibobokk' on X (previously called Twitter). His art accentuates muscle shaping within the male body sometimes approaching the style of Drtkk.


Alibobokk - Shibari

This image has similar ingredients but the addition of a leotard provides an identity and context for the viewer's fantasies to feed on. With the subject facing outwards it's more suggestive of his vulnerability to control than his inner journey (although the white spillage reveals his intense excitement). The viewer senses (as he does himself) the presence of the man who has lavished time on artistically tying him up and intends to savour the result.
 

Alibobokk - Aloha Chastity

There's no great indicator of age in the preceding pictures but cheery, young men like this surfer-type pop up from time to time in this artist's output, seemingly offering themselves up to us. This sporty man's provocative posing unexpectedly reveals a state of chastity. We don't know if it is a statement of self control or evidence of having submitted to it and perhaps now appealing for release. The viewer can imagine himself as the key holder (if he can keep his hands steady enough!). 

These images seems the wrong way round to western eyes, 
it's origins are Chinese so it should be read right to left.


Alibobokk - Aloha

This image provides the missing link in the sequence and gives a startling glimpse of what is crammed inside that tiny, chastity capsule. Also, one might speculate, evidence of the sort of behaviour that gave rise to its attachment in the first place. 

Apparently Black Cats are positive images in China, associated with wisdom and justice. 
This one's narrowed eyes look more judgemental than enlightened.


Alibobokk - Chastity Guys

This seems like a celebration of chastity. Two, notably muscular buddies seem to be proudly comparing their restraint equipment when once they might have been comparing cock sizes. In a sense the chastity cage is the great leveller but these two devices, though similar, are not of equal size. Older readers may recall the time when men sought out the jeans with shortest zip, perhaps a similar race to the bottom (as it were) applies in the realms of public, chastity display. 


Alibobokk - Shibari at the Office

In this image a tightly-bound office-worker seems to be floating in the air, but is posed as if still seated at his desk. It suggests an office fantasy where a much-admired co-worker is frozen in time, magically elevated, his shoes and trousers made to disappear and then invisibly enveloped in bondage. The top buttons of his shirt have been undone and pulled apart allowing the body harness to squeeze his pecs out through the gap. The reverse re-arrangement of his underpants transforms them into a minimal thong whose sole purpose is to contain his burgeoning erection. It's an extremely sexy picture.

The speech bubbles suggest he's actually a straight man being teased by subordinates who fancy him and offer him sex on account of his excited response to being bound in this provocative way. He vainly protests that he's not what they think but his ID badge lies on the floor as though it represents a vital protective barrier that has been pushed aside. Fortunately the taping of his face hides his identity as well as that of his tormentors should anyone choose to photograph the scene.

The matter of fact title of this picture is reminiscent of books about crafts like flower arranging which would devote individual chapters to the diverse places and occasions when the technique could be introduced, shibari at home, shibari in the Office, shibari in Church,....the list is endless!


Alibobokk - Sub Worked

This is a very similar image which I have included to indulge my own enjoyment of the way the clothing motifs are exploited. The inset 'photograph' seems to reiterate that sense of a man who has been admired from afar until now. His white socks suggest the object of the obsession has a sporting connection. This time it seems to have led to abduction and not just an inappropriate Office prank.


Alibobokk - On his Knees 

A pleasingly clean image featuring attractive, upper body, harness restraint. The captive has a sexy hairline and the focus on his neck continues with a chunky, chain collar and a slightly sinister, dangling cord attachment suggestive of a noose.

The lower half his body is slightly out of kilter with an exaggerated balloon butt (glowing red) and plummy balls which frame a receptive rear, expressing the artist's more earthy interests.


Alibobokk - In The Frame

That earthiness is brought to the fore here. In your face you might say. The ingenious, dual purpose restraint and display block may not be totally original but is a highly polished and convincing piece of apparatus, beautiful in it's simplicity. There's an equally multifunctional plug and probe device whose capabilities to thrill we can only imagine, but thrill they plainly do! 

This set up references the erotic characteristics of tentacle-alia but the probing tubes look to have been engineered by human hand and are suggestive of the practice of colonic irrigation which enjoyed something of a vogue in the 90's. Ball weights (possibly attached via a spring) keep the captive's tackle tidy and out of the way while also reminding him that pleasure must always be counterbalanced by pressure and pain.  


Alibobokk - Plugged and Milked

This sportsman is shown undergoing similar procedures in a slightly more comfortable and slightly less undignified position. But it reveals an expression that tells us that the experience, which might have been expected to be pleasurable, is proving to be demanding for him. It's a matter of degree I suppose and being subjected to strange, new experiences which you cannot control can be very disconcerting.


Alibobokk - Universal Soldier

This artist's interest in tubular, body attachments leads him into the murky regions of augmenting and modifying the body. Here he visualises tubes of an unspecified nature implanted into the groin of his military-looking subject. Tentacle art sometimes fantasises about ultra deep penetrations of a conventional kind but this seems to extend the idea into penetration of the body itself, perhaps in search of internal regions that can be stimulated (presumably pleasurably). 

The dumbbell fitting used to organise this man's balls are a nice detail.

This man is also fitted with a collar tube suggestive of breathing tubes fitted after a tracheostomy which gruesomely extends the niche subject of breathing control (already touched upon in the first image) into startling regions, but this artist's work suggests to me that he's interested in the level of invasiveness and threat rather than extreme experimentations themselves. 

This image seems to encapsulate a search for what you might call the ultimate erotic sensation, a secret internal source of pleasure, the Holy Grail of sex. But it's an internal search apparently, in this case realised through the agency of machines and technology. This artist's work doesn't involve other people except as hidden controllers who appear to be directing the search. Experimenting on their captives by subjecting them to ever more extreme sensations, pleasurable or otherwise. The psychology of this is interesting but I wouldn't pretend to understand or explain it.

Milking Parlour by Muscle Destroyer and Jakarta (12)


 
I've dubbed this amazing animation 'The Milking Parlour', because the spacious layout and comfortable seating arrangements for the participants don't quite convey the sense of industrial scale milking that characterises the other Milking Factory posts.

This animation has the same element of enforced participation with the donating men strapped down and gagged, their plight underlined by the plaintive looks they give to the stranger who accidentally stumbles on them at the facility which seems to be in a secret corner of a large office building. He looks as if he would make a highly suitable addition to the team himself but is understandably spooked.



'Muscle Destroyer' has also reworked this material into a great GIF

Art by Shenguanlin

Shenguanling - Milk Farm 1

This striking image offers a harrowing glimpse into the depths of this artist's nightmarish world of abductions and crushing captivity. Men who are taken are doomed, it seems, to an existence of perpetual, suffocating, bondage, punctuated by participation in humiliating rituals involving bodily functions. This includes milking of course, but strictly speaking this particular set-up wouldn't qualify as a mitchmen Milking Factory because of the 'artisan' extraction arrangements and low volumes involved. 

The human storage cages seen in the background were also featured in the recent 'Milking Factory' contribution by this artist. They seem like a praise-worthy, humanitarian, rest and respite facility for the milked men, but a cynic might argue it's just a necessary business response to the milk production limitations of male biology and hardly represents a free range approach to keeping them. 

The bubbles seen drifting around the captivity chamber are an intriguing but unfathomable detail. Dream-like? Maybe one of my readers can decipher the symbolism.


Shenguanlin - Suspension 2

Shenguanlin's complex art is built on simple bondage imagery, like this semi-suspended hog. 
His favoured tipple seems to be Rugby Players and other butch sportsmen, 
The bindings are invariably comprehensive, neat and believable.

This image is lifted by the lifelike representation of the captive's taped eyes and face mask.
 The face covering appears to be improvised from socks, underwear or shorts (of unknown, dubious condition and origin!) These are clues to his deeper fetish leanings.


Shenguanlin - Hogtied

This hog variant puts the prisoner into real world setting, balanced on a table in an austere cell whose bare interior contrasts vividly with the vegetation seen beyond the prison bars, the lush world from which he has been removed. Stripped down to just his shorts and socks, a typically hairy physique is revealed. Since he's so tightly hogtied, the table beneath his body is the only external thing the prisoner is aware of, because a blindfold, gag and earplugs deprive him of his other senses. 

This relatively simple image is visually appealing thanks to it's colour balance and crisp detailing. There's an intriguing sense of the unknown. Who is he? Why is he here? We can almost feel his isolation and share his mystification of where all this is leading. He may not even realise that he's set upon a table which seems to imply a tactile physical inspection may well follow his sensory deprivation.


Shenguanlin - The Penalty for Losing

The same basic hog-tie image is worked up here into a dramatic, erotically-infused scene with three rugby players put on display in matching restraints, having been held responsible for the loss of a match. It must have been quite an important one!

Part of their punishment seems to have been a beating of some sort, the random angles of the red weals on their bodies suggest a 'running of the gauntlet' prior to being tied up (compare the recent Drtkk imagery). The beating, however, is just a warm-up for their real punishment. Their faces have been wrapped in a mixture of dirty jock straps and smelly trainers (no doubt provided by their team mates). I suppose it brings home to them, rather vividly, just how much sweat and toil their colleagues had put in, when they hadn't. They are sweating profusely themselves now, even if they weren't during the match.

The restraints here look a whole lot tighter and much more strenuous for the three captives than the previous examples. Their heads are pulled back tightly and connected to tightly flexed legs at the toes. They will probably be dropped from the team after their poor performances, but if they're forced to endure this much stress for long - say, the same length as the match - they aren't going to be in a fit state to play again anyway for a while. 

This picture is packed with fascinating and sometimes sleazy detail. This artist has an unusual way (to me at any rate) of depicting the struggling movement of the captives. It consists of squiggly lines drawn around the outlines of their bodies. It works better when you get used to reading it. Some of it seems more like trembling than energetic struggle - which is not an entirely inappropriate reaction! He provides sound effects as well. A (slightly incongruous) dialogue box explains the scenario.


Shenguanlin - Duct Tape Boy

You can see the 'special effects' more clearly in this rather nicely drawn image of a skater-type tied to a chair (surprisingly it's a padded one!). The trembling interpretation applies quite well here. There are virtually no erotic ingredients in this picture beyond the captivity scenario itself and the suggestive, clean-cut characterisation of the prisoner.  However, the taped-up shorts are quite intriguing and fans of trainers and chunky legs get a small treat. The heap of tapes at the prisoner's feet and the ropes lying on the floor behind him suggest he's part of a much bigger bondage operation.


Shenguanlin - Bondage Freak

Here the artist takes the same basic image and makes a spectacular transformation with some relatively small alterations. The covering of the face with noxious looking fabrics has the most immediate impact, followed by the spurting, caged cock which is a good compromise between realism and wishful thinking. But there's another, easily overlooked change that arguably has more impact overall and that is the 'doubling up' of the taping which adds body bulk and emphasises the total restraint of the prisoner. 

There's a host of fascinating detail including the introduction of an electrical box whose terminals are connected to the man's balls with crocodile clips. However, this arrangement seems designed not so much to torment him, but to stimulate his engorgement into a seriously restricting cock and balls cage which also has a head attachment improvised from twisted wires and holding a 'sound' in place. 

This isn't the same man as the previous picture, this one has hairy legs, suggesting more maturity and a greater inner strength that warrants his more demanding restraint. The crudely boarded-up cell window seems to imply he's going to need it. 

Unexpectedly, the artist's title seems to imply this arrangement is all quite voluntary.


Shenguanlin - Tonight's Boy

This tweaking of straight-forward bondage images to show extreme, earthy outcomes reflects an interest in the whole process of a man's descent into captivity and this image depicts the starting point. A very real-looking man has been entrapped, apparently in his own home. He's laid out on a settee being tied up, surrounded by items indicating his passion for playing rugby - but not for washing his clothes. This stereotypically masculine trait makes him ideal material for Shenguanlin's predators. 

The captive has been put into a shiny, black, bondage suit with his arms strapped to his sides. The suit is not particularly tight but manages to display a sizeable mound between his thighs, which looks as if it might a white undergarment (and contents) extracted from inside the suit. It's squashed into two moundlets by a very tight belt, part of an assortment of ropes, bandages and belts providing head to toe restraint. 

This looks like preparations for an abduction - the protective packaging of a prized acquisition, but the captive's legs are actually being tied to the settee which implies he isn't going anywhere just yet. The captors leave him free to voice his confusion and protests, but it's hard to see that continuing for long.


Shenguanlin - Installation of a Dungeon Urinal 1

In this image a similar looking man is being processed in a dark, undefined space. His two masked attendants are indistinctly drawn, but clad in skin-tight, dark body suits creating an eerie atmosphere of sexual menace. The title tells us more of what is to come, the smell of the place may give him that clue.

Standing erect so that the attendants can finish strapping him up, he is already fitted with  a thick, high collar that forces him to look upwards. A ring gag, attached to a whole-head harness keeps his mouth gaping open and already, his face is dripping with cum. His cock and balls, extracted from his body suit, are uncovered and forced into a multi-ring cage that squeezes tight round his balls and the base of his cock. 

Despite this multi-layered restraint, he is weeping excitedly. The artist cleverly maintains an element of ambiguity throughout the story suggesting consensuality. The photo ID card stuck on the captive's chest even suggests a club-like arrangement, recognising his individuality and tracking him. A bit like an animal passport.

The captors tape over his eyes and carry him to an iron cubicle where he is put inside a body-shaped casket like a mummy. It seems to fit him perfectly not allowing him to make any movements. Perfect for shipping but the casket is actually chained to the wall. In the picture the attendants move in close to make final adjustments and he can probably feel them touching and arranging him. They stroke his cock encouragingly (sympathetically?) and too late, he senses something not very nice is going to happen to him, but his gargled plea is ignored. 

Next, they will fit the other half of the casket over him. The front section is fitted with a mouth tube that will be fed through the ring of his gag, there's also an orifice for his cock and balls to be pulled out, both requiring careful fitting. Eventually his voice is silenced by the outer cases being bolted together.

By the time the attendants have departed some time later, the outer casing is doubly clamped and chained to the walls of the cell. The incarcerated captive's mouth piece is connected to a stub of a tube in the ceiling of the cubicle. When opened it will drain waste liquids from a Basketball Team's locker room just above.

The artist explores this earthy scenario repeatedly in his work and I will provide links to find more at the end of the article.


Shenguanlin - New Arrival 1

This looks like it might be the same, butch captive but his restraint is very different here. He's been clad in a tight-fitting, latex, bondage suit that shows him to have a highly muscular physique. One that deserves to be displayed. His arms are restrained in a complex, shibari style, upper body harness but his legs are simply tied together at thigh height, hobbling him. Only two parts of his body are exposed. His head is enclosed in a harness with a gag attachment (which looks rather like a ball gag but is intended, I think, to be a ring). His cock is locked into a  chastity device through which he is leaking onto the floor. 

He's been parked in a urinal and, unsurprisingly, seems to have attracted the attention of it's users. There are limits to what they can do to him in this constraint but they have left behind souvenirs of their visit. Shenguanlin - Semen Collection

The condom motif is seen again here. These do seem to be filled with the prisoner's own produce. He's being continuously prompted to produce more by a vibrator strapped to his thigh.

This looks like a facility where passers-by can help themselves to refreshing, cold, cum shots.
They have contemptuously discarded their drained condoms at the prisoner's feet, one has even been draped over his shoulder.

This artist likes his captives to keep their socks on (see hogs above) and I love this one's semi-hairy pecs which remind me of my adolescent attraction to a young workman who worked for a while, bare top in his dusty, black jeans, on a building site very close to where I grew up. 


Shenguanlin - Caged


This image depicts a completely different form of captivity. The prisoner is hooded and locked into a chastity device, but otherwise naked. He's been put in a cage that is only big enough to allow him to kneel, a position that has been further restricted by roping that lifts up his tied wrists behind him. The simplicity of this arrangement creates a sense of great vulnerability

A captor wearing a sinister gas mask is crouched beside him as if concerned, but the coiled whip in his hand is evidence that brutal control techniques (or sadistic pleasure seeking) are rife in this particular facility. This may account for the prisoner's trembling.
