Two handsome men sit together in earnest discussion, one is dressed in athletic gear. On a makeshift log table before them lies a wooden spoon. I suppose it might signify the athlete coming last in his race, and they're discussing how he can improve. Cue another use for the wooden spoon. His hand is reaching towards it as if he's about to pass it to the other man, giving him permission to use it.

 

It's a wonderfully neat image, even by the standards of AI, with nice close up framing drawing attention to the athlete's open legs and the strings trailing over his bulge. Good-looking and tough, he's perfect for the spanking treatment hovering, unspoken, in the air. It doesn't really need a caption, but I like the picture so much that I wanted to embellish it with a slightly different slant...

 

It doesn't really look like an athlete with his trainer, not in this ultra-private, woodshed setting. It can't be a traditional father and son heart-to-heart, either. To me, this athlete looks like a man that can't be pushed around.  

 

An Extra Hard Bargain

My take on the scene visualises the athletic hunk as a jogger, intercepted on his routine, morning run, by a man who has enough charisma and chat up lines to entice him into his nearby den. Maybe it was cold and raining, so he was more easily persuaded. 

 

He soon notices the paddle, and his host dangles the carrot of financial gain for just a little pain, a reward for all his hard work in the gym. The money hooks him, gym fees are high, but he's cute enough to negotiate. His would-be punisher doesn't mind. His budget will be tested, but it's persuading the hunk to submit that turns him on, the swats are just the hot topping. He can compensate - fewer, but harder. It will be interesting to see how far the jogger's greed will take him, once he's feeling the heat. 

 

 

otklad - Public Spanking

 

otklad's own caption doesn't give much explanation, but it looks like a campsite and these two have obviously broken the rules. Antisocial behaviour, I suppose, because everyone will get to watch their come-uppance. The two men, who seem to be related, look out with bewilderment at the assembled audience, who are, no doubt, expressing their pleasure at being able to witness their humiliation. 

 

It's a nice composition, but inspired a very different scenario for me.

 

A Long Walk Home

Suitably chastised, the lads try a camping expedition on their own. They've picked a secluded area by a lake where they can get up to mischief and skinny-dip away from prying eyes and interfering busy bodies. 

 

Unfortunately, this is private land, and they are not the first to trespass on it. The landowner knows this is a favoured spot because he regularly finds campers rubbish there, so he makes it his business to check it. He's caught the two trespassers red-handed and bare-assed. There's a fine to pay, but they haven't got the money, so he sends them to get some, keeping their tent and gear as a guarantee.

 

For all I know, he spanked them too. 

 

Bare foot and scantily clad, they peer into the gathering gloom, imagining what terrors might await them amongst the sinister trees.  

One seems to be thinking that the men might be quite interesting. 

 

 

This scenario is pitched by otklad as a man being escorted into the privacy of the woods for a punishment that utilises the locally available materials. AI can produce lots of sequences like this that are of interest for how the participants are modelled. Regulars here won't be surprised to learn that it was the muscle hunk who caught my eye in this one. I suppose he does look as if he might be related to the man in front of him and able to leverage that to overcome the resistance of a fully grown man. However....

 

 

Hot Pursuit

 

Darren might be naive and inclined to count his chickens before they are hatched, but he's not innocent. You can't blame him for being attracted to the muscle hunk he spotted on one of his walks in the forest, both of them communing with nature. It was understandable too if he followed him to a clearing and watched him disrobe and exercise, unincumbered by the conventions, constraints and distractions of the gym. 

 

Things got a bit murkier when Darren started monitoring the clearing for return visits by his hunk and peeping at him on a regular basis. Confident in his seclusion, the hunk's 'performances' gradually became more and more arousing and Darren, watching, became increasingly excited and indiscreet. Inevitably, one day, his presence was noticed. 

 
Some muscle men enjoy being admired, but most would draw the line at unbridled lust. Darren hastily made his escape, thankful that he knew the byways of the forest so well that he could shake off the pursuit. Unfortunately, he forgot that there was only one track that led out. The hunk didn't need to be a brain surgeon to work out where to intercept him. 

 

 

The Wrong Trousers

otklad's original of this image is a conventional student spanking, centred on the sexy contrast of formal jacket and exposed underwear. Interestingly, he does not spell out Hawkin's answer. There only can be one, of course, but it signals his complete capitulation, having already been humiliated by the dropping of his trousers. 

 

I have adapted it to my pet fantasy at the moment - making grown men wear short trousers long after leaving education. It's become a condition of employment in many companies. A rule that gives the men the uncomfortable feeling that they are not yet regarded as 'grown ups'. 

 

I retained the Hawkins surname to associate the scene with his earlier days, but I don't know if his new boss has enough power to wield his cane on the employees bottoms or simply uses it to intimidate them. Making Hawkins return to his desk minus his trousers is humiliation enough for an adult.

otklad - AI Spanking Art 1

 

 

This is one of my favourite images by otklad, feeding my obsession with men wearing tight shorts. All otklad's art has a spanking context, and his scenario envisages a muscular jock ordered to cut a switch from a tree and report with it to the garden shed for a profoundly humiliating punishment. Fortunately, he's mature enough to escape my normal sensitivities about age and though it may have been conceived as parental disciplining, it doesn't have to be viewed through that prism. 

 

I prefer to see this as 'The Stranger in the Woodshed', a chance encounter on a jogger's morning run, but one with even more profound consequences for him than the fleeting pain of a spanking. Rather like those films from the 60s about escaped prisoners being aided by young people, an era that is bought to mind by the fashion of the stranger's pants in the picture.

 

 

The Jogger and The Stranger in the Shed

This jogger is no chicken and picks up the message immediately. He glances down, following the stranger's eye-line and checking if his own excitement is showing. 

 

 

This is a spicy restaurant where the waiters wear tight shorts. Little wonder, then, that a customer's casual caress has precipitated a spill of the Chef's, lovingly prepared, signature dish all over the floor. The waiter's apology, made with his hands in pockets and averted eyes, is a typically defensive young man, but comes across as less than sincere. Understandably so, in the circumstances, it wasn't all his fault. However, I dare say the Chef has seen him do this before and finds his trademark backside display more disturbing than his carelessness. 

 

These days, we all know that Chefs can be temperamental and fiercely critical of shortcomings in the staff. This one is hunkier than most, and in spanking land that may well be contributing to the waiter's insouciance about the squashed soufflé. The prospect of a paddling from such a forceful hunk might actually be quite appealing.

 

 This image features some very nice colour toning. The artist supplied his own caption and the scenario is so wacky (if I may use that term) that there's little else I can add, except I'm not sure about the Chef's hygiene standards for his utensils!

 

 

The Team Captain is a hell of a hunk and his stoic expression shows a steely determination to do his duty without complaint, but he is obviously dreading it. It's irresistibly attractive. His tight, cropped T-shirt provides an obvious erotic focus, but the bare midriff and neat shorts beyond repay contemplation too. The red rose tells us that these are England's top rugby players, a fine body of men, these days, well represented here. Cropped tops are not usual in English training scenarios, perhaps that's why this show-off is being made an example of!

 

The Coach is a nice creation too, he even makes jogging bottoms look sexy! The sort of man any team would be happy to follow loyally and unquestioningly. Humiliating punishments included, these guys are no strangers to public pain. The coach is so impressed with his captain's sacrifice, that he's swapping the demeaning table tennis bat in favour of treating his backside with a firm, manly hand. 

 

I've taken the liberty of changing otklad's original caption here because it didn't seem to quite fit with the visuals (see it here). 

 

 

I suppose Superman has similar, inspiring credentials to the coach above, augmented by super-everything, including his physique. I would have thought the intimidating super-paddle is a bit unnecessary, though, for a man of his strength. Sadly, he's much too decent to manifest visible excitement about the duty he's about to do, but the manner of it doesn't quite gel with his goodie-goodie image. 

 

Jimmy has a 'nice boy' image too, so he must have done something truly terrible to have earned this. Bad-mouthing Lois Lane perhaps, or dropping a clue to Supe's, true identity, maybe. Now he learns the price of going public in the most graphic way imaginable. There's a prurient interest in ginger pubes amongst mankind that he's about to learn all about. Fortunately, if Superman's conscience is pricked about what he's doing (or he feels some other distracting desire), he can always carry Jimmy off with his pants round his ankles to finish in private on the top of a (phallic) skyscraper. 

 

 Locals are getting a bit fed up with the antics of drunken tourists, spoiling the innocent fun of Oktoberfest. It doesn't help that they call everyone Hans, either. 

 

A stern official has decided to give this one a taste of another traditional practice. His son can testify to its vividness. This parade through the village is just the beginning! I expect someone will take a video of it and put it on social media and thereby create a lasting memory for the tourist, in case drink (or embarrassment) clouds his own.

 

otklad has utilised an improbable AI meme (is that the right word?) that a number of other artists have also discovered. Matt (of Jockspank), for example, who clad the characters in grey, flannel shorts of similar brevity. I like the obvious maturity of the offender in this image, it makes his comeuppance so much more profound. Those tiny shorts! I feel for him! His muscular tormentor is also hugely desirable, offering a tight shirt treat to nipple fans.

 This is a great image that doesn't really need to be particularised. A young man in shorts is intimidated by the muscular, older man right behind him. In otklad's universe he's probably cutting a switch for his own punishment under close supervision, his offence undisclosed, but there are many other interpretations. 

 

He's already cut an enormous pile of wood, suggesting he's gardening, pruning the tree, not just a delinquent on punishment detail. I can't help thinking that he looks a lot more excited than you'd expect a gardener to look too.... 

 

Hard At Work

 

 My take, for a change, is benign. Even when they are old enough to be at work, young men often have a terrible fear of their elders seeing into their soul.

This one is a bit harder to fathom. The characterisations of the two men don't readily fit the 'cut your own punishment switch' scenario. They seem too mature, and the spectacles disable conventional stereotyping. 

Of course, no man is ever too old or too responsible to be spanked, and there's a certain deliciousness in that. But if he's not a pliable son, still living at home, what's he doing in his shorts in the garden?  

 

Sauna Surprise

 

I resorted to the gardener meme again, recalling those ads where women ogle the bare top hunk mowing the lawn. The spectacles give this one a bit more class. The thinking man's crumpet, but not an easy lay on the face of it.

Woodshed Switch

 

This role reversal exploits the more equal relationship in a surprising way. Normally, spanking punishment is conducted in the privacy of the woodshed, to spare the victim's blushes. These look like spacious, private gardens, but the implied proximity of the punishment to home makes the open air option much more humiliating - and dangerous too, if there is a shared secret involved, providing the leverage for the neighbour. 

 

John just has to hope that nosy, Mrs Pringle doesn't pop her head over the fence for a chat with her attractive neighbour.

 

 

3. Missed Another Practice

Ah, the locker room substituted for the woodshed and the good old, traditionalist coach enforcing discipline. He can't be left out of any spanking equation, but changes in society over the years make it increasingly improbable for younger members of our tribe. 

 

The threat of being dropped from the team is no less potent, though. Just ask any Premier League footballer.  The coach's long-suffering expression here makes this image a little bit special, and I built on that for my take.....

 

 

Home Alone

'Home Alone' was never like this, but then again, those burglars didn't find a fully grown up, young man in occupation of the house when they thought the householder was away on holiday. This one's not been left behind by mistake, but has reached an age when he makes his own holiday arrangements with his friends from Uni. 

 

This intruder has obviously done his homework and has detailed plans for enjoying their long weekend together. He's calculated that a bit of controlled aggression will ensure compliance - and it's working so far. He even brought a change of clothing and selection of toys for them to play with. Next up is adjournment to the bedroom, for a careful, military style, inspection of the younger man's shaving.

 

 

4. A Little Chat

 

Otklad draws a veil over causation here too, but the undressed 'son' in this scenario is obviously too old to submit to being spanked easily. His father doesn't look much older for that matter. Perhaps he's a step-father, in which case friction between them is almost a given. He is also allowed to be cruel. Perhaps the step-son, home on vacation from uni, is learning that the house rules have changed in his absence. 

 

It was this image that suggested the 'Home Alone' scenario to me. The father figure with the retro look here, irresistibly reminded me of one of those cute, earnest detectives from crime dramas in the days when realism played second fiddle to star appeal at the box office.  

 

  

Interview With A Victim

The keen, young detective, in his quest for the truth, asks the victim to reenact the ordeal he suffered at the hands of a cruel intruder. Being a little wet behind the ears, he doesn't realise how embarrassing his questions are, particularly for a young man who has stripped to his underwear for the demonstration - and also finds him very attractive. 

 

You might suppose that the brush was used to dish out a traditional, post-shower paddling. In fact, the intruder's modus operandi was much the same as the one above. The shower was followed by a cleanliness inspection and finding himself dissatisfied, the invader finished the job himself. With relish.

 

The victim reluctantly explained that his second cleansing included vigorous scrubbing under the armpits and between the legs. Where the brush ended up after that meant that the intruder's DNA would probably have been wiped off the handle.

otklad - AI Spanking Art 2

Read from Part 1 

 

 This is a marvellous, homoerotic image. It has a similar theme to the Rugby Captain in Part 1, with an idealised young man in tight vest and shorts posed with a casually dressed, mature mentor. There's an obvious paddling interpretation, with the younger man seemingly anticipating that fate and assuming the position before his serious-faced elder. 

 

otklad pairs this image with 2 nude sequels captioned to suggest there's a mutual game going on, with the punishment for losing the match being a consensual ingredient. See Loser's confession and Trainer's thoughts (sensitive content).  Sexy though this is, my thoughts took a different direction...

The older man (cum Trainer) here does not seem minded to use his bat to punish his acolyte. Rather, he is using it to cover his groin, as if the sight before him has stimulated something quite different in his mind. A secret desire that can't be ignored any longer.

 

Swat? or What?

In my interpretation, he broaches the subject subtly but assertively, like a trainer would. I think Callum's going to have his experience widened today.

There's a blunter version at 'X'.

 

  The grown up son who is still living at home and therefore can't escape his father's strict discipline is a favourite spanking meme. In this image, the son seems to be patiently explaining to his parent for the umpteenth time that their relationship has changed. But has he got the guts to stand up and refuse in the face of all that anger? If he's still calling his father 'daddy', I suspect not. He'll hesitate, then wearily shuck off his shorts, as usual.

 

Headache

 

The woodshed is not part of UK folklore, but an employer arguably has an even stronger hold over a grown man, especially one who hasn't quite grasped the whole idea of being grown up yet. The visuals in this image set off a slightly different train of thought for me. He's a waster, but I do feel sorry for this guy, having to deal with all this anger. 

 

 

The "Naked Survival" Scout Badge (for Seniors only)

 

This is another variation of cutting the switch for your own punishment. Scouting scenarios are even more liable to be fraught with age inappropriateness, but this is a great picture, so I've added a caption to steer it into the safer waters of simply embarrassing a young man who thinks he has left the torments of adolescence behind him. 

 

In my variation, grown up Ben only has to build a shelter with his switch, but without any equally naked companions to work with, just a steely-eyed, fanciable Scout Leader watching his every move, it's not surprising that he feels a bit hot under the collar! 

 

On Your Marks

Another hunky athlete under pressure. It's clear that this is another trainer who encourages his lads to greater heights with liberal doses of CP, but his exact modus operandi is not quite clear, so let me explain. 

 

You may be familiar with the latest track lighting system that paces athletes so they know if they are running fast enough to break the record (or not). This track doesn't have that, so the coach beats time by administering a swat as the runner goes by, if he isn't going fast enough. Which is more often than not, you won't be surprised to learn. That's why his paddle is so long. That's why the runner is so indignant.

'The arrest' is a well established AI and spanking meme, played out here by a hunky cop, by whom any gay man would like to be arrested. The sports shop setting gives a perfect excuse for giving him a table tennis bat, which may or may not be evidence. The scantily dressed felon looks as if he might be up for a plea deal.

Guy Winfield - Unexpected Visitor

'The lone camper' is a theme that exploits isolation and vulnerability and draws on the horror library of rednecks who don't welcome uninvited guests. Sometimes the camp invader is a figure of authority or a lawman, enforcing the rules of a protected wilderness. It's not clear whether this man fits into that category, but his muscles and tattoos create an intimidating effect without any need for a uniform. It looks like the camper won't have the option of refusing his invitation anyway, and I dare say he won't be putting on his clothes for it either. 

 

There's another example of the genre in my post about tru3ai, also in otklad part 3, Stonecrooze and a video realisation starring Logan Vaughn in The Cabin. The take by Jonathan featuring camping buddies is one of my favourites.

Guy Winfield - Cop captives impersonated

The perils of the wilderness are not solely reserved for the young and fit (as was graphically demonstrated in 'Deliverance'). These two unfortunate cops seem to fall in-between those extremes. Their patterned underwear gives their plight a comic twist as the villains speed off in their uniforms and car. No doubt heading for a role-playing convention. If they had left the cops in their tighty whiteys or less, it would have created a very different effect. However, the men who roam these woods at night are probably not that discriminating.

Guy Winfield - No Trespassing

Both captor and captured alike in this variation seem to be dressed in military garb, which doesn't quite gel with the artist's title. Infiltration by the other side isn't usually regarded as trespass. Perhaps civilians who are caught on military land in these parts are punished by automatic induction into the armed forces. The camp guards must carry supplies of army underwear to get them started. I guess that's their civilian clothes going up in smoke in the background.

(or perhaps a companion who suffered an even worse fate, Sci-Fi style).

This is one of a series, which the artist seems to see as a hijacking scenario. Another uniform-based impersonation scam. However, there are rather dark associations with that since 9/11. My caption visualises a more frivolous scenario, the result of an on-line, Christmas shopping spree by a distant, very rich potentate.

 The artist has also produced a number of variations on this theme, based on the idea of villains stealing the uniforms of two safari guides, so that they can rob the tourists booked in for the trip. 

 

The image is capable of less innocent interpretations than that, of course. It looks as if these two men have been parcelled up and are waiting to be shipped out.

The crossed legs bondage in this variant is more severe and seems to imply more than simply detention and immobilisation. It's a punishment reminiscent of unethical POW treatment in some parts of the world. In the safari context, these men might be poachers, caught in the act and awaiting shipment to prison. Could be a bumpy ride.

 

 

  

Guy Winfield - The Real Guides (5)

This variation (see artist's unaltered original) seems to depart from the Guide impersonation scenario completely, unless this is an forlorn escape attempt to raise the alarm. 

 

It might be another poacher punishment, of course, but it reminded me of the 'Stud Hunt' scenario of Amalaric (see 'The Thrill of The Chase', image 507 onwards). 'The Hunt' (2020 movie) had a similar plot line. In my variation, the quarry is severely handicapped, suggesting near-certain capture by the pursuers. However, the hunting mode is non-lethal, so that the hunters can enjoy their catch afterwards, however they wish.

Guy Winfield - Impersonated

 

This image of a delivery van being hi-jacked, and its driver stripped of his uniform, has created a splendidly dramatic underwear exposure.

 

However, I get the impression that this hijacker is going to take his captive with him - for his own private, nefarious reasons - or maybe to spare him the night terrors of the forest. He might even be on a mission, sent to collect this man who was caught by a male-order recruitment squad, while innocently walking his dog in the early morning. 

 

If you look closely, you'll see that the captive has an unusual, non-organic shape in his underpants, rather like the base of a well-known sex toy. That may provide an additional explanation of his discomforted expression. His introductory training has already started.

 

Guy Winfield - Stripped For The Uniform

Despite the title, it looks like this chap has been stripped for more than just his uniform. It certainly doesn't look like his attacker is about to leave without him. His fierce expression does not exactly suggest he's got everything he wanted. I don't suppose he wants to leave all that rope behind, either. 

 

It's possible that he has just informed his captive that the polka dot under-shorts will not be needed where they are going. It's no good, looking at us for help, mate. We don't like 'em either!

The artist's understated title here leaves the way open for the usual cracks about cute guys being popular in the prison - with the guards and with the scary inmates. The tape gags might be taken as a none too subtle hint of severe disciplinary standards within the walls, with no talking back tolerated.

Escape Rooms are supposed to be fun, bonding adventures according to the blurb. But what would happen if men with dubious motives got hold of the concept and made it rather more difficult? 

These three buddies were probably not expecting to be stripped like real convicts, but it really added atmosphere to their experience. The handcuffs and gags would obviously make puzzle-solving and collaboration more difficult but, hey, they were up for any challenge. Still, the electrified belts seemed a little unfair, they hadn't expected to be punished if they got the puzzles wrong or didn't behave as they had been instructed. 

It was only when they were locked up in separate, sound-proof cells that the truth began to dawn......

 These two, cute gangsters have come to the jail house dressed in rather nice matching shorts. Tape gagging arrested men isn't normal, but I expect they deserved it. It stops them getting the same story lined up. Could make for some interesting body searches and interviews too. No wonder their expressions are so grim!

 

Guy Winfield - Dutch Football Team in Trouble

 For some reason, soccer players don't have quite the same appeal to me as their burly rugby equivalents. Their shorts always contrive to disguise their undoubtedly chunky thighs. However, this image scores with its tight bondage, pec effects and with No 2's semi-excited reaction to being tied up. They are all peering up into the sky, as if a helicopter is coming in to land. Coming to take them away?

New Spanking by Tom of Finland + new discoveries

Tom of Finland - Spanking

 I thought I'd seen all the Tom of Finland images I was ever likely to see until this amazing spanking image turned up recently on Strictop's GaySpankArt site at BSkySocial. It's in Tom's early '60's style which produced many of the great classics. The fashion detailing of the protagonist's clothing, socks, shoes and jumper suggests to me that it's quite early. If so, it's surprisingly explicit, sneakily so.

Steve Masters - Circus discipline

 This image by the highly original Steve Masters is the soul of discretion by comparison. You have to look closely just to see that it is spanking-related. Some scamp caught trying to sneak into the circus tent faces retribution. Is it a thrashing, or is the circus performer removing his belt with something different in mind, inspired by the juicy offering before him? 

Master's unique style featuring skin tight clothing has you guessing whether these men are clothed or not, opening up the more racy interpretation. Are those tattoos or fancy performance clothes the belt man is wearing? The detailing of the intruder's jeans is so faint that at first you don't see it. 

On closer inspection, fashion detail to match Tom's can be seen - the deep turn-ups of the jeans and black basketball shoes are so 50s yoof culture. Similar shoes turned up not long ago in a 1958 Royale Studio photo set of Ian Oliver.

 

This image by Matt is another rarity, preserved and rebranded by the notorious 'Nick Shadow'. A customer who complained gets short shrift from the Chef! Chef spanking crops up fairly regularly in the new wave of AI spanking imagery, but I confess that I don't really get it. I suppose the ubiquity of the wooden spoon, sometimes used for domestic paddling, makes the connection. The authority (and temperaments) of Chefs in professional kitchens is more widely understood these days thanks to TV, but the scenario doesn't really work for me. What I do like here is the maturity of the recipient and the hairiness of the spanker, whose hand lingers on his butt suggestively.

 This image by RASchultz is another period piece with a puzzling scenario that was probably inspired by the story he was illustrating. Executioner's masks had a bit of a vogue in the Drummer 80's and so did Chippendale bow ties on strippers, but it's hard to deduce what the connection might be in this picture. Fortunately, the sense of domination and beautiful, kneeling bondage in the imagery is so powerful that you don't really need to.

 

This image by Copper was a revelation to me. He is a prolific producer of comics which use humour to defuse their subject. I have seen his pointillist style before too, but the dark drama of this offering is on a different level. The hand under the chin makes an unusual physical connection and subtly reinforces the Master's control. Not sure about the moon, though! Artistic licence?

 

The great, British artist, Bill Ward, drew such uncompromisingly masculine figures that he even gets away with a walrus moustache here. Ripped pants, jock strap and a face down in a crotch make up an irresistible image of assertiveness and submission.

 

 

A final, eye-pleasing, modern AI offering from otklad, with a Senior Scout learning that you're never too old to learn about authority and discipline and that different rules are necessary when you're a long way from urban civilisation.
