Latschkowski brothers were from a family of Mormons that survived harassment and threats in Nazi Germany. There were three brothers, Guenther was a toddler killed in an air raid on Berlin that destroyed their mother Meta’s flat. Their father Bruno was a soldier who served on the East Front. The family came to America in 1952 as refugees after the war. Siegfried 1939-2000, Hans 1940- is still alive. -Rj
