The General idea is to trap the opponent's arms and legs from opposite sides.
The body behind him further inhibits his ability to wriggle free.
Thus, the embarrassment begins.
to suffer the indignity of being 'rolled'.

Lighter guys can be rolled into a position where their shoulders are pinned for a fall.
This way up can't feel good, particularly with the ref hovering so close by.
At least he's deflecting some of the prurient, butt interest onto himself.
