(Note:- links in this article were corrected on Jan 6th 2014)

 Tagame - Jinmon
(translates as 'Interrogation', although it also means humanity or civilisation according to the dictionary I consulted which is intriguing)

According to my Blogger 'view count' stats, these are the most popular posts of 2014

This is for entertainment only, I don't know how valid or representative Google's stats really are and obviously posts from January have an advantage over December. This means Tom of Finland might have pipped Tagame to the top spot if I'd posted it a month or two earlier.

It's no surprise to see these two massively popular and important fetish artists claiming the top positions. Tagame's article didn't quite hit the 1000 mark but beats the score of last years winner (A-Z of Fetish Artists – Swarbrick) by a considerable margin. With 774 hits that article would have come 6th this year. (see the rest of top 20 for 2013 here).

I'm particularly pleased that the good showing by the article on the elusive Baron confirms his standing in our community and likewise the presence of two of the classic 'Bound and Gagged Magazine' articles. The latter have boosted the number of articles with photographic content rather than artwork in the top 20 this year to 5 compared with 2 last year.

This year's list is a little dominated by multi-part articles, if I were to knock these out as duplicates the next articles that might otherwise have made the cut (hits in brackets) are listed below, although it has to be said that the cut-off point for last years list was 400, not much different to this year:-

Just Out of Reach (373) – featuring Baron +Tom of Finland

I will publish the updated list of all-time favourites in my next post.
