Muscle and Rope Postscript - Thong Model in Bondage

Having raided the image archives of numerous studios, this is Mitchell's take on the Muscles and Rope theme. My model is in the simplest form of bondage and is wearing backless briefs which, for some strange reason, always seem to be sexier when seen from the side than from the back.

I conclude this series by returning to the studio which is producing some of the most exciting male bondage images on the internet, Bound Gods and it's creative genius Van Darkholme.

These pictures of tied up bodybuilders are simple compositions but so erotically charged and in their own way artistically satisfying.

Rope is tightly bound round the subjects where it is not really needed for the purpose of restraint but it serves to shape and highlight erotic areas like the pecs and thighs.

What I particularly like about these images is that they are so clean. Not only is the photography crisp and well lit, the backrounds are uncluttered by distracting domestic or dungeon paraphenalia and coloured to display the model's bodies to advantage.
Simply excellent.

Muscle and Rope - 24

By special request of one of my readers I present Roger Marvik of Hard Heroes - a very big man! The noose like motif is quite erotic for those who like black forbidden fantasies but basically muscle here is totally in charge of the senses.

The straining chest above and the submissive pose below is quite a nice combination. Imaginations go!

Muscle and Rope - 23

We are out in the woods today! A soldier (I love close cropped hair!) is tied to a tree with rope criss-crossing his chest and around his waist and legs. This arrangement doesn't showcase the pecs like other pictures but it does spell out 'restrained'. His trousers have become slightly lowered in the struggle. The clenched fist is a nice touch although his facial expression seems curious, wistful rather than angry.

Perhaps he is watching his buddy being attended to (picture 2). This man is much more severely restrained, his arms pulled tightly back, legs apart straddling some kind of log chair. The captors are certainly planning unpleasant mischief here.

Muscle and Rope - 22

Today's focus is firmly on the muscle with ropes playing a supporting role.

You can't tell if these gentlemen are to be captors or captives
- although they both seem to be enjoying the kiss of rope on skin.




I suppose it's off topic really but I rather like the silver briefs on the more mature Samuel Colt in picture 2. Quite apart from the revealing outlines there is something quite erotic about a butch man wearing slightly camp clothing. The swirl of rope about his muscular thighs works well too.

Muscle and Rope - 21

In today's pictures the men's bodies are lightly muscled and economically bound but that does not mean they lack impact. The images seem very different, but actually have a lot in common.

In the first picture a naked man kneels while his captor licks his feet. The bindings round his arms, wrists and ankles look tight and neatly done, they immobilise him most effectively. His full head of hair reflects the age of the image of course but in combination with his slender hips and small buttocks somehow makes him look very naked and exposed. You can imagine that he has just been forcibly removed from his collar and tie.

Jan 2024: After searching for many years I have now identified this man as Joey Yale

partner of the legendary Fred Halstead and star of some of his films.  For this connection I am indebted to BJland. The photo comes from a 1974 magazine spread entitled 'A Thief Underfoot'.

The Magazine was called Gay Bondage Vol 1 No 2.

In the second picture, again, there is no bondage on the captives torso, just his ankles and wrists. In this case the bare feet are also central to the action conveying the mans total nudity - the rope passing between the toes is a nice touch. The backless jockstrap and open legs (spread just wide enough to create interest) showcase the vulnerability and desirability of the captive. You can tell that this man visits the gym from his upper arms, his efforts have created shapely legs and buttocks which are no less attractive than the body of a bulky muscle man.

You can't see the second man's face but you can tell that he is looking round to see what is captor is doing - just like the man in picture 1. This coveys a sense that something real and sinister is happening.
