Slave Train

A Muscle Slave Train
as modelled by 'Muscle Slave Fantasy' at 'X'.

He's following a well trodden path here at mitchmen, with a number of previous posts* depicting eligible men being escorted across the desert, en route to a new life in the sun, albeit not a particularly relaxing one.

 

As well as the animation, the muscularity of these captives is a marked departure from previous takes. Their strength will make them prized goods in the marketplace at their destination. The elaborate restraint arrangements and continuous encouragement by their escort is seemingly designed to make their journey as unpleasant as possible, but will no doubt benefit their behaviour in their new positions.

Etienne - Desert Trek from Sailor Beware

 

 The recent flurry of posts on Etienne's Art gets another boost with a new, AI-animated version of the Desert Trek scene (Stephen's original version above) posted by Planet Gay this week at his 'X' site.

This follows his terrific AI reconstruction of the same image, which was posted here recently.

The image reproduced above comes from Etienne's revised version of the story, which is posted in full at mitchmen in this post. 

A more recent post pieces together the original 60's version using fragments which I unearthed in some old beefcake magazines.

 

 

That article also highlights the inspirational cross-fertilisation between 'Sailor Beware' and Royale Studio's 'Shanghai'd Sailor' which may have been the egg for Etienne's chicken.

 This doesn't look like Brooklyn, Toto!

The concept of this image, which I stumbled across in CFNM Guys at Adonis Male will be familiar to regular readers of mitchmen blog. It joins a growing list of brazen abductions of unfortunate males who are led away on the end of a rope or chain, often, but not always, by horsemen (see below). 

The kidnapped man in this case has been stripped naked which adds a sense of permanency and discomfort to his predicament. So too, does the empty wasteland across which he is being dragged, clearly to his bemusement. It all says there will be no going back. The female abductor is a first in this series, it certainly adds a different nuance, a different kind of threat somehow. Her captive has a splendid ass, which might not appeal to everyone but looks highly suitable for heavy work, like pulling a plough.

The last example of this sort of image was by Planet Gay, a beautiful upgrading of Etienne's classic picture of two abducted sailors being led across the desert for a sticky date (not the fruity kind!) with their new Master in  'Sailors Beware'.

This image may look familiar to you, its part of a select group showing desert kidnaps in distant lands where we fondly imagine that enslavement of white men still flourishes. Other examples at this blog are by Bowen, Tacitus, Iskan156, Gilgamesh and most notably perhaps by Chirenon. 

In fact, this picture is an AI reinvention of the slave delivery scene from Etienne's classic tale of Middle-Eastern misfortune 'Sailors Beware'. This particular story has had a lot of coverage at mitchmen blog recently thanks to the discovery of a little-known early draft of the story and a long-forgotten Royale storyette which probably inspired it: 'Shanghaied Sailor'. 

AI gets a bad press in some quarters, but there's no question of 'stealing' pictures here and the artist - PlanetGay- gives full credit to Etienne as its inspiration. The new version is distinctly different from Etienne's original, but it gives it a new lease of life. It's even preserved the distinctive, balletic stance of the brunet captive - a very Etienne-ian detail. The sexy, new characterisation of the kidnapped sailors makes one wish for some of the other scenes to be given the same treatment. If you compare the clothing of the evil abductor with Etienne's original, you might be surprised at what is revealed.

As ever with AI, some of the detailing is wide of the mark, like the unmilitary haircuts and goatees of the conscripts and the slanting oasis water (with surf?). That big-city mosque parachuted into the middle of the desert to add atmosphere is clichéd as well as daft. Having said that, Etienne might easily have done the same thing in his time.
