At this time of year, I always look back over the 12 months just ended to see which post was the most popular amongst the blog readership. In this first article, I look at the new posts added to the blog during the year.

| Homoeros - Hill Billy Elegy 7 |
Stripped naked with his hands tied behind his back, hiker Leo is confronted by his scary, fem-dom nemesis at the Hill Billy camp. An image I did not include in my selection from the story produced by this year's winner, Homoeros.

The
table below lists the most popular of the new mitchmen posts during
2025. I'm sticking with last year's method of simply counting hits with a
mention of other factors in the notes.
(Titles have links to the original posts, column 4 shows hit rate ranking (i.e. hits divided by time since publication. On mobiles, the table is best viewed by turning your phone sideways)
TABLE 1 - Top 20 New Posts at mitchmen in 2025
(Stats collected on 31st Dec 2025)
NOTES
1.
In a year that seemed destined to be dominated by AI imagery, it was an old friend, Homoeros, using non-AI, render technique, who provided the most popular post of the year - and No 6, and No 20 (which literally crept in on the last day of the count!). His winning total did not match the 1475 scored by last year's winner, but comfortably beat the runner-up in both years. This artist regularly features in the mitchmen charts, but this was his first win in any category. His success was foreshadowed in 2024 by the interest shown in the 'Ross in Trouble' post. (View last year's table).
2.
Homoseros' 3 posts had the benefit of a full year to pick up hits, which meant a poorer showing (at 9) in the hit-rate chart, which averages out the scores over time. On that measure, the laurels were won by Miloinvinculis whose spectacular, AI, water torture videoettes put him first and second in that chart. However his late appearance at the blog restricted him to 7th and 12th in the main chart. It remains to be seen if this promising performance can be sustained over a much longer period than the present, meagre 6 to 7 weeks. I have a feeling I will be posting more of his work which will stimulate interest.
3.
The runner-up in the total hits chart was an article which featured medical interventions on hunks, by Dr Smith of Film 911. It was the only photograph-based article in the chart. I don't produce them very often, but there were three more just outside the top 20 this year - the cinematic Lost Patrol (22), the Chained Heroes' torture of Mercenary Nick (26) and the chilling, Dr Smith sequel, Mike, the Construction Worker (30).
4.
Arguably
the best all-round performance this year was by 'Etienne's Medical Images' which
came 3rd in both measures, demonstrating the lasting appeal of traditional
art in the hands of the old masters. Etienne is a regular in these
charts, benefiting from AI updates by other artists (Car Wash
just missed the cut this year) and also my own promotion of his art, which
gave him another entry at 16 with 'Fishing is a Dangerous Sport'. My
revision of Julius Milk Collection images at 17 was the other traditional art
entry in the chart. My own art 'Jimmy's Midnight Visitor' finished at 22 just outside the cut-off. 5.
The top AI posts came from Hongd542 at No 4 and No 5. He had another at 13 and a fourth, 'Hongd542 - Part 4' at 21, was just edged out of the chart by Homoeros at the last minute. Hong manages to wring an exceptional level of sexiness out of the restraints of commercial AI, and his attention to clothing amply compensates for the low level of explicitness. He can claim to be the most popular AI contributor of 2025.
Since posting this, I have learned that Hongd542's account at Deviant Art has been deactivated (see comment below). I'll keep an eye out for him returning elsewhere
6.
It wouldn't be mitchmen blog without a Milking Factory in the chart. This year, Hijaden2's, relatively modest and delicate renders of latex-clad, milk drones had a head start in January, which enabled him to secure 8th position, holding off the late charge of BedVC's sensual, testosterone-dripping, rubber clad 'Combatants' in September in numbers 24 and 25 in the Milking Factory series. BedVC had to content himself with 10th and 16th positions, but gained 6th and 7th in the time-adjusted table (compared with Hijaden2's 18th position) showing it might easily have been a different story.
In a more equal universe, however, he might have also been up against another strong contender - Milking Factory 19 by Ain Postolos. Posted in Oct 2024, it scored only 355 hits in 2025, but 579 on a time averaged basis since first appearing, which would have qualified for 9th place if I had allowed it. His most recent work seems to have deepened his obsession with cavernous holes and gushing, giant penetrations. Hot, but not the stuff of this blog. However, I have to concede that his 'Dungeon Milking' image is largely responsible for last year's edition of this MPP1 post, Most Popular New Post of 2024, securing 9th position in the table.
7.
Also on the subject of milking, Franco's AI-updated versions of his famed milking machines captured 11th position, showing yet again his incredible ability to adapt to and exploit new technology. Franco is an ever-present in the 'all-time' table (MPP3) and his evolving style is well-documented here from traditional drawings, through photo-manips to his current, modern computer-aided style. You obviously can teach an old dog new tricks! His latest iteration gifts us even more handsome test subjects, all being relentlessly tormented by impressive-looking engineering.
Franco, newly reborn as an AI artist, heads up a gaggle of AI contributors in the second half of the table. Besides Miloinvinculis and Hongd542, we have Gay Roman Fantasy at 14 and Moosemind at 18 both featuring ancient civilisations with enslavement themes and men to die for. Gay Roman Fantasy, like Miloinvinculis, gave us a video - of a Roman Slave Auction, an impressive demonstration of what AI will provide as it matures.
Tru3ai, at 19, is arguably on a par with Hongd542 in the sexiness stakes but with a leaning towards bondage scenarios. His position was depressed by a late start (in October) but judging by his 4th place in the 'rate' table he may do better as time goes by.
AI posts secured 12 of the 20 positions in the table, but not the top ones, which perhaps tells you something about the present standard and capabilities of the technology in the eyes of the blog readers. However, the remarkable AI videos that formed a major element of the last months of the year suggest it is too early to pass judgement.
8.
There
was another deserving post from late 2024 which might have registered in this chart
had its publication date fallen more favourably. I find it hard to assign a genre to the luscious cartoons represented in 'More Art by Doodlefish'. Released in mid-December 2024, it stood no chance of registering in that year's chart, but actually scored 596 hits in 2025 alone (and 660 on
a time averaged basis). Either measure would have easily secured a place in the top 7 for this year.
Scores overall were marginally down on last year, with the cut being 401 hits vs 428 last yr.

This
year's table features articles based on photographs, comics, cartoons,
renders, traditional art and AI. The wealth of gay, artistic talent
enhances all of our lives in difficult times. Long may it continue!
